Moving Again

We used Moving Again 18 months ago and they were great, however we used them again last week, never again.
they were late to pick 6pm, up so the loading bay was closed and we had to pay more on the spot because of the awkward access. Moving Again did not pass on the loading bay times.
When eventually got our stuff on Tuesday afternoon (we were told Monday) our 2 leathers were badly damaged, fridge dented and no glass top for our table. I've left 2 voicemails and 1 text about our glass table top and am still waiting on a reply.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1400

I highly recommend these movers!  They were professional, friendly, fast, and competent.  I had no issues with damage of items, stolen items, or dirty and wet items.  The office staff was very friendly and helpful.  They eased any anxieties.  The movers showed up early and delivered early.   I found the overall service of this company to be exemplar.  I would use them again.  They did the job they way it should be done.  No corners cut, tricks played, or lies told.  I was overjoyed to have this wonderful experience.  The way these people worked just took my worries of my move away.  They made my move simple and affordable.  I did not have to have any extra concerns about the moving process, and this was huge because moving itself is a big stress.   If you are looking to move and want a simple, effective, and pro experience, these are your guys.  From start to finish they will take care of your items, you, and your concerns.  You will not be dissapointed.  .

Just want to help everyone else in need of a removal company. Watch out for these guys please.
Super poor communication - most of the time they just copy and paste answers.

Some of my items (a living room and a washer) arrived broken at destination and they can't be used anymore. So sad that a company does not pay attention at all in what it Does and in the service it provides.

I also moved my car interstate (from Perth to Sydney) through Moving Again.
My Nissan, basically brand new, arrived faulty in Sydney and a part of the driver's window has gone missing and nowhere to be found. Incredible.

Just shocking service. Just writing this review so people don't do my mistake and waste their money.

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $2800

They provided a competitive quote for moving our house from Sydney to NT. They came recommended by a friend but I found that:  1. They are moving brokers, the middlemen, and not actual removalists 2. They lied about storage costs, which I asked about explicitly, saying it was included in move cost, but we were subsequently charged almost half a grand for storage by the removalist who told us they had nothing to do with our contract with Moving Again) 3. They did not pass on packing or delivery information from or to the removalists. 4. The cost of Moving Again worked out the same as using any other removalist.    Use an actual removalist. Don't use this mob unless you like hassles.

Service cost: $5000

This business is just a website which then contacts the actual moving companies once a job is booked.
Using the online website for an initial quote is simple enough as dealing with automated computers tends to lead to the expected outcome.
That is where the positive ends.
It is near impossible to get in contact with these people unless you are providing the payment details.Calls are rarely answered and when they are the 'receptionist' will do her very best to sound annoyed,give you someone else's email and hangup,regardless of your inquiry.
Company email policy is that they will get back to you within 24 hours.They did not.

Fortunately for me the people actually involved with the move itself were able to give me a direct line of contact and even they found huge difficulties communicating with this second rate service.

Do not use this service unless you enjoy long stressful periods.

My experience

Zero stars (I've tried not to make this sound emotional, just stating what I went through)
This started on the 8th of March paying my deposit, It ended on the 31st of March getting my deposit back.

The pick up was suppose to be on Friday the 10th of March the driver would call 24 hours prior to inform what time he'll be there. I never recieved the call. No one came on the pick up date.
I tried calling the office and emailing at 4pm (after I finished work) but I didn't get a response until I called on Monday the 13th asking for my deposit back.
I was sent an email Monday afternoon claiming my refund had been processed by a bloke named Henry. I gave them the 5 clearance days (as well as the weekend) before contacting them again.
From the 20th of March I have sent 17 emails with Henry trying to get my Money back. On the 29th Henry replied back to one of my emails telling me they refunded my money to the wrong person.
So I guess it does only take 2 days to receive a refund from Movingagain.

The reception claim that they can't pass on your call to anyone else. It felt useless calling them and I assume they have it setup for this exact reason.
I was honestly surprized to see my money had returned to me on the 31st.

Not one aspect of my experience with Movingagain was positive.
I was the one who had to call them at every step. They didn't reach out to me once, not even when I wanted to go ahead with payment from entering my details on the website.
The only email they sent me was to state someone was coming the next day for the pick up. Which no one did.

At not one point of this experience did I receive an apology, in writting on spoken. The amounts of times I called and emailed they never sounded like this was a strange occurrence for them.

Hopefully I can save you the hustle of dealing with this hack of a company.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $160

Phoned up to obtain a quote and was advised I can cancel at any time and will receive a refund of my deposit. Decided to book with them whilst in-between meetings. When I arrived in the office the next morning I checked my confirmation email which advises who will be performing the move. I checked Google to see the company reviews and they were extremely poor. I phoned them to changed companies and they said I had another company doing the move. I was never notified of this. I once again checked the reviews of this company and they were even worse. Requested to cancel my booking and was advised I will not receive my deposit back. After numerous phone calls and emails with no willingness to negotiate even though in there terms and conditions it does not state anywhere that your deposit will be retained if cancelled. I have since filled a formal complaint with Fair Trade and will notify ASIC of this as well. Then I received an email from them the day before I was meant to have my scheduled move telling me to get everything ready. Poor service, unprofessional. They are a third party company that have NO IDEA what they are doing. Save yourself the stress and book with a reputable moving company.

It is a civil duty for me to advice against this company. After reading some of the reviews I decided to risk it anyways because it was so cheap. But do not be fooled.
My move from Sydney to Brisbane never occurred because the company/driver never called to organise the time of pick (after I had paid in full as asked) and then was closed for the whole weekend with no contact (email contact is useless). Upon calling the next working day I spoke to Wendy who assured a return phone call that never happened. After countless phone calls, finally spoke to someone higher called Peter. He was without a doubt the rudest most inconsiderate person I have encountered, it was incredibly upsetting to talk to him. Made it out to be my fault his driver never picked up my furniture. I ended up cancelling the order and going with a different company that cost me twice as much but delivered the goods. Furthermore I had to call everyday for two weeks to ensure my refund.
If anyone from this company says they are going to call you back, THEY ARE NOT.
Please save yourself the gruelling mental anxiety and ultimate let down and just pay more for another movalist.
