Long-distance move from New South Wales to Queensland

Sydney 2 Brisbane.

We used Moving Again 18 months ago and they were great, however we used them again last week, never again.
they were late to pick 6pm, up so the loading bay was closed and we had to pay more on the spot because of the awkward access. Moving Again did not pass on the loading bay times.
When eventually got our stuff on Tuesday afternoon (we were told Monday) our 2 leathers were badly damaged, fridge dented and no glass top for our table. I've left 2 voicemails and 1 text about our glass table top and am still waiting on a reply.

Long-distance move from Victoria to Queensland

Know what back loading is..

We used moving again for our move from Vic to Gold Coast. Friends told us about back loading, so we were prepared to have to wait longer than a dedicated removalist for our furniture to be delivered. Our furniture was picked up by a local removalist, then unloaded at their depot, reloaded to the interstate truck, then delivered 2 weeks to the day from pickup. All the removalist guys were courteous and professional. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was not telling us an approximate timeframe upon booking so we could plan what we needed while basically camping in our Gold Coast apartment until our furniture arrived (I did bring the TV up in the car!) Thankyou Moving Again.

Long-distance move from Perth, WA to Sydney, NSW

Watch out. Save your money.

Just want to help everyone else in need of a removal company. Watch out for these guys please.
Super poor communication - most of the time they just copy and paste answers.

Some of my items (a living room and a washer) arrived broken at destination and they can't be used anymore. So sad that a company does not pay attention at all in what it Does and in the service it provides.

I also moved my car interstate (from Perth to Sydney) through Moving Again.
My Nissan, basically brand new, arrived faulty in Sydney and a part of the driver's window has gone missing and nowhere to be found. Incredible.

Just shocking service. Just writing this review so people don't do my mistake and waste their money.

Local move within Northern Territory

Don't do it.

They provided a competitive quote for moving our house from Sydney to NT. They came recommended by a friend but I found that:  1. They are moving brokers, the middlemen, and not actual removalists 2. They lied about storage costs, which I asked about explicitly, saying it was included in move cost, but we were subsequently charged almost half a grand for storage by the removalist who told us they had nothing to do with our contract with Moving Again) 3. They did not pass on packing or delivery information from or to the removalists. 4. The cost of Moving Again worked out the same as using any other removalist.    Use an actual removalist. Don't use this mob unless you like hassles.

Long-distance move from Victoria to Queensland

Unprofessional and money grabbers.

We booked and paid for this company to move our items interstate, they picked up our stuff but when it was delivered there were items missing and the container was packed so badly the delivery driver appologized and made comment on the discusting way in which it had been packed. we had numerous items broken and damaged and my 5 year old daughters clothing had been thrown throughout the load. we contacted the company and they informed us that our load had been split in 2 and a second delivery was to come.

after 4 days we recieved a phone call to say that the second load was going to come but we needed to pay the invoice for the second delivery??

an invoice was issued stating we had access stuff and I advised that it would be paid when I got paid in 2 days. I was then told that because I didn't pay the invoice straight away I would be charged $300 REDELIVERY AND $35 storage.

how can a company charge REDELIVERY if the delivery was never made or attempted??

Did not even give them the chance.

Do you know that feeling you get when something just does not quite feel right?
That's how I felt the whole time when dealing with Moving again.
Forget about customer service these people just want your money.
It is obvious it is a sham of an operation.
Questions are never answered however quotes are with a dollar value and that is it.
Do not ask questions. You do not get them answered in emails and I was laughed at over the phone.
I feel like I dodged a bullet with these guys and found a company that actually care.
Their reviews here speak for themselves.
Avoid.

Long-distance move from Cairns, QLD to Darwin, NT

Moving Again.

Absolute scam. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. Booked to move belongings from Cairns to Darwin. They earliest they could come was the day before we had to be out of the house. They never showed on this day. We had to leave the state and all our belongings for them to pick up. It took them another 3 days without any returned calls to collect out stuff. It then took over 3 weeks for it to arrive in Darwin. They couldn't tell us when it would arrive. I called and emailed countless times with no response. Out of the blue one day in pouring rain I got a call from a random backloading company to say they were at our door. I was at work..
I raced home to find out things dumbed and broken. Heavy items were placed on top of a wooden cabinet which caused it to collapse.
Called Moving Again, got told by Henry to put it all in an email, which I did. Never got a response to any of my emails or calls about the damage.
Today they were supposed to show up in court, but it turns out they've deregistered their company to hide from all the mess they leave behind. I will continue to keep pushing to get a full refund. They offer a profession moving service. They do not provide anything close to a professional service. Avoid them like the plague.

Long-distance move from New South Wales to Victoria

You can say Moving Again, again.

We used Moving Again and they use their website as a front for using backloaders, please note that this company is NOT a REMOVALIST company and use second and third parties to backload your furniture. The website is misleading and even though we thought we were getting a removal company, we actually got back loaders who also changed the pick up and drop off times.

The truck turned up part loaded and so there wasn't enough room to fit our furniture and we ended moving our stuff again at our cost after the backloading company Gecko Backloading Professionals refused to pick up the remaining items.

So we ended up moving again with Moving Again! Altogether there was three companies involved and so it was their words against ours and with no one actually viewing the items to be removed.

No apologies and no offer of recompense offered and we can only hope that everyone reads these reviews and no longer deals with these cowboys.

Like the old saying, "you get what you pay for" and in the end the cost equaled the other two quotes received and my suggestion is that you give this company (including their backloaders) a wide birth and use a reputable company.

Long-distance move from New South Wales to Queensland

Do Not Use.

We accepted a reasonable quote for a small Syd-Bris job we needed done. All was set for a certain date (a Monday) but unfortunately we needed to change the pick up date. I tried calling them on the Saturday morning prior but the voicemail said to send an email as they are "monitored 24/7". We did and received no response until Monday morning. After several attempts by us to have them provide an alternative date they decided to just ignore our messages. By Friday that week we realised they were obviously not going to do the job or refund our $130 deposit we sourced another provider are now pursuing them via Fair Trading for the return of our deposit. DO NOT USE.
